Best CEUs blending faith and CBT

I’m planning March CE hours and hoping for a 6–8 hour course that weaves Scripture-rooted lament and hope with trauma-informed CBT skills like thought records and paced breathing. If you’ve taken something evidence-based through AACC, CAPS, or a university provider that felt genuinely pastoral and effective for emotional healing, what would you recommend?

, this combo is weirdly hard to find, but the closest for me has been a CAPS pre-conference intensive — 6-hour trauma/CBT tracks that often weave Scripture-rooted lament/hope with paced breathing and “thought records,” and they count for CE. If you want something more structured, Duke’s Religion & Health group has RCBT clinician training that’s lighter on explicit lament but strong on faith-integrated CBT tools: https://spiritualityandhealth.duke.edu/. Do you need live or self-paced for March?

Finding something that blends Scripture with CBT can be so frustrating! I recently attended a 6-hour intensive through AACC that touched on trauma and hope — definitely worth checking out if you’re open to it. Have you looked into their events yet, or do you prefer more university-led options like CAPS?

I recently took a course from AACC that did a great job of integrating Scripture with practical CBT techniques; one thing I really appreciated was how they emphasized emotional honesty with oneself, which is often overlooked. Have you looked into any specific AACC trainings yet?
